FPE · Touring + talent buying

We book it. We run it.

FPE brings international talent to New Zealand and Australian stages, and books club nights, tours and afterparties. Venues come to us when they want a name on the flyer and someone accountable for everything behind it.

What we deliver

For venues, promoters and festivals across NZ and AU.

01

Talent sourcing

Acts that fit the room, the night and the budget, including international tours already routed through New Zealand.

02

Offer & negotiation

Offer sheets, fee negotiation, contracting, riders, radius clearance and deposit handling with the artist side.

03

Club nights & afterparties

Official afterparties attached to touring shows, and club dates while an act is in the country.

04

Tours & routing

Multi-date and multi-city runs across New Zealand and Australia: routing, transport and logistics.

05

Show advancing

Production schedules, technical requirements, supplier coordination and show-night management.

06

Artist logistics

Ground transport, accommodation, hospitality and rider fulfilment, coordinated to the artist contract.

How a booking runs

Six stages, in order. Artist introductions happen at stage four, never before terms are signed.

  1. Brief

Licensed occupancy, trading hours, tech inventory, revenue model, target audience.

  2. Terms agreed

Engagement model chosen, fee confirmed, billing and branding signed off.

  3. Sourcing

Realistic options with indicative fees, availability windows and radius restrictions.

  4. Offer issued

Formal offer to the artist side. On acceptance, deposit drawn and the date locked.

  5. Advance

Contracts, riders, tech advance, schedules, logistics, credentials and suppliers.

  6. Show night

On-site from load-in to load-out. Settlement within ten working days.

Occupancy governs everything. No act is approached until licensed capacity is supplied in writing.

Five ways to work with us

The model is chosen before sourcing begins, not after an act has been named.

A

Flat fee per booking

A fixed fee for each act sourced, contracted and delivered.

Best for a one-off or first engagement.
B

Buyer's commission

A percentage of the artist fee, charged on top of that fee.

Best for a season at varied fee levels.
C

Promoter split

We co-promote, carry a share of the cost and share net revenue.

Best for venues with trading history and open books.
D

Full show delivery

Talent, advancing, suppliers, logistics and show night, end to end.

Best for flagship nights, relaunches and sideshows.
E

Programming retainer

Ongoing talent buying across your calendar, plus first refusal on acts we route.

Best for venues programming every week.

Venue FAQ

Before you enquire

Can FPE book international acts for my venue?

Yes, including acts already routed through New Zealand on tour. We'll need your licensed occupancy, trading hours and technical inventory before we can price anything, because capacity decides what a room can pay.

When do I find out who's available?

Once terms are agreed, we approach the market and come back with realistic options: indicative fees, availability windows and any radius restrictions attached.

What's a radius clause?

Touring acts are often restricted from playing within a set distance and time window of a ticketed show. We clear it before any date is announced, and nothing is publicised until clearance is confirmed in writing.

Do you work exclusively with one venue?

Only under a programming retainer. Retainer venues get first refusal on international acts we route through Auckland.
